The other day we were at Wal-Mart and he saw some kids (he LOVES kids) and he was so excited and waved at them. Well, they totally ignored him and didn't smile or anything. He looked up at me with these sad eyes like "what happened, everyone loves it when I do that?" I felt so bad. I think his confidence was a little shaken after that because he was a lot more reluctant to wave.
We've been trying to build his confidence back up and here's the ticket. He LOVES to look at himself in the mirror after he gets out of the tub. He smiles and waves so excitedly and that kid ALWAYS waves back and is just as excited to see him.
Boy do I love this little guy.
