Well...
- I forgot to put the water in the pot before putting them in the oven, charring them to the bottom of the pan and producing something closer to jerky.
- I didn't realize the lid of my pan was going to melt either. I pulled the pan out of the oven and had no way to get the lid off, since the handle was melted right off.
- I went and got some beans out of my parents garden, I forgot about them and went outside to go over some landscaping possibilities, when I got back there was no water in the pan anymore and the beans were charred to the bottom of that pan as well.
So basically 2 pans ruinned, 1 lid melted. And some chewy meat. Better luck next time.

This doesn't surprise me at all. You are just one of DoJo's daughters. I have to tell you I burned the broccoli tonight. Yep, forgot and went over to Lulu's for just a few minutes. My house still smells like burned broccoli. I didn't ruin my pan though.

Ginna I love this! You make me feel so much better about all of the times I forgot about something and burnt it to a crisp! Thank goodness for understanding husbands!
