We are beyond thrilled to be adding to our family with a precious little girl. Since we've gotten the news, it's been a whole new world of web searches and ideas spiraling out of control. Girl possibilities are endless... bedding, hair accessories, dolls, toys, shoes, clothes, dresses, etc. etc. etc. such a different spin from "boy world." I sure love my "boy world" but I'm so excited to expand on the other side. I'm already dreaming of little kitchens, the barbie house and dolls amongst Owen's hoop, balls, and cars.
I do have to admit, I'm a little nervous for girl hair. My sisters and sister-in-laws have set a "high bar" with the mastery of the round brush, baby chi, and more hairstyles than I could ever imagine. I'm already worried that I'm going to need to enroll in classes.
We are so blessed!!!

Ahh! Congrats! SO exciting! You are gonna love "girl world.." A little princess will absolutely turn your lives upside down...Amazing to be able to know boys and girls in your little family...Owen will be such a great big brother...And I am scared of hair too...Let's learn together...
Congrats! That is so perfect, one of each! It is so fun to have a boy AND a girl. They are SO very different! ;) I am totally with you on the hair, I don't do my own hair very well. But it is fun to try...I am now able to get a small pony tail in Mylee's hair, so fun!!I hope you are feeling well. :0)
Ginna, congrats on the girl! I am so excited for you guys!
I always thought I wanted 2 boys in a row until I spent Christmas with Jake and cousin Ronan. Rachel and I had to separate them to different floors because they drove us nuts with the loudness, fort building, and other boyish persuits. I absolutely love one of each and I'm sure you will too.
And Etsy is a baby girl's best friend. I can waste so much time on there. I have a lot less pressure in Alaska since she has to wear a beanie most of the year! I swear I will not move back to Utah just because of the baby hair styles.
